TATA Strategic Partnership
Tata Communications Transformation Services partners with Zeetta Networks for Next-generation Network Services
The partnership will drive early adoption of new user-centric networks using cross-layer Network Slicing and Splicing
Mumbai – 20th March 2019: Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS), partner of choice for the world’s leading Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Communications, a leading global digital infrastructure provider and Zeetta Networks, a leading network slicing and splicing® company, today announced a global partnership agreement to facilitate early adoption of technologies like 5G and network slicing within the ICT space.
As a partner to Zeetta Networks, TCTS will install, maintain and support Zeetta Networks’ NetOS® in telco and enterprise networks to enable use cases like Factory-as-a-Service, smart cities, smart venues, connected cars, gaming and security etc. TCTS will also provide System Integration services for Zeetta Networks’ multi-tenant, multi-technology software platform. As part of the agreement, TCTS will be a key go-to-market partner for Zeetta Networks to target new markets and grow the business by leveraging TCTS strong presence in the Telecom service provider market.
Commenting on this partnership, Madhusudhan Mysore, Executive Chairman & CEO, Tata Communications Transformation Services said, “We are happy to partner with Zeetta Networks at this important juncture as the telecom industry goes through digital transformation to drive more customised and differentiated service offerings. Our partnership with Zeetta Networks for network slicing will allow operators to build networks on demand & slice the networks based on specific requirements of autonomous cars, AR/VR & other use cases. While the service providers get ready for 5G networks, we have demonstrated slicing-as-a-service – which is ready now on 4G/Wi-Fi networks with experiential use cases of smart stadiums and pop up networks.”
Harkirit Singh, Global Head of Solutions, TCTS said, “Network slicing will transform the way networks are consumed by humans and machines. Our partnership will enable service providers to launch new use cases and business models in high growth enterprise markets through differentiated connectivity-as-a-service enabling new revenues and lower total cost of ownership.”
TCTS’ decade long experience in transforming, simplifying and managing global networks offers Zeetta Networks an edge in terms of market awareness, product knowledge, best practices, and multi-vendor domain skills that can enable Zeetta Networks to deliver real world success and value to customers
With extensive global experience, Zeetta Networks has developed patented technologies that enable network owners the flexibility and freedom to manage their services – and budgets – more effectively. This not only supports and extends the Open Networking philosophy beyond data centres to core and access networks, but also towards a future where the whole ‘end-to-end’ network is as agile as it needs to be. With such expertise, Zeetta Networks is a natural partner of choice for TCTS in their ambition to drive the technologies of the future for its customers globally.
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with TCTS, a major transformation, managed services and solutions provider to the telecommunications industry with long-established relationships with industry leaders. This partnership will enable us to expand rapidly into new markets, and explore business opportunities of mutual interest at a global scale” said Vassilis Seferidis, CEO of Zeetta Networks. “We launched our collaboration at MWC 2019, where we unveiled our latest product, NetOS Rapide™, that has made available immediately to TCTS and their partners,” he added.

About Zeetta Networks Limited
Zeetta Networks enables smarter networks. The company leads the development of open, programmable networks based on an advanced, patent-protected software controller called NetOS® that provides full network visibility, control and management through a single-pane-of-glass.
NetOS® enables network splicing® of any combination of network technologies (Fixed, Wireless and low-power IoT) to create a single virtualized network topology that can be then sliced into network slices (sub-networks) on-demand to meet specific user or application requirements. The ability to dynamically sliced and splice the network resources across wireless and fixed technologies is protected by the company’s granted patents.
Zeetta Networks commercially deployed NetOS® in several enterprise projects across Europe and successfully demonstrated 5G Network Slicing in early 5G testbeds like the 5G Smart Tourism and 5G Rural First projects. NetOS® allows enterprises and service providers to control their fixed and wireless networks seamlessly, driving operational efficiencies and creating new monetization opportunities. In 2019, Zeetta Networks will be extending its NetOS® product portfolio to support the creation and control of ad-hoc or “pop-up” networks.
